Fr. Greg Rapisarda
Fr. Greg was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 2010. He spent much of his life as a husband, father, and worked as an attorney. After his wife, Carol, went to the Lord, Fr. Greg heard God calling him to the Priesthood, and he has answered that call. Now, he serves as our Associate Pastor and the Catholic Chaplain at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He has an enthusiastic heart for sharing the Gospel and serving Jesus in those who are ill and suffering.
Helgi Nelson, Sr.
I am very excited to be able to minister in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
Thanks to Archbishop William E. Lori for granting me the faculties to function as a deacon in my old hometown of Dundalk. I was ordained as a deacon for the Diocese of Wheeling/Charleston in May of 2016. I served the St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Berkeley Springs, WV for more than four years. My wife Karen and I were very active with the WV Knights of Columbus and facilitated the annual Our Lady of Guadalupe Silver Rose Run each year since 2009.
Karen and I now return to the Dundalk area to be closer to our children and grandchildren. I was raised in the Our Lady of Hope Parish and we were married there by Father Michael Roach in 1977. Karen and I moved to WV in 2001 and now we are back.
Karen and I are looking forward to many years serving the people of our new pastorate and surrounding community.
