"Day and night they do not stop exclaiming: 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come.' Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne and worship him, who lives forever and ever. They throw down their crowns before the throne, exclaiming: 'Worthy are you, Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created'” (Revelation 4:8-11).
LITURGY
As members of the Church, the Body of Christ, we share in Jesus' ministry of offering perfect worship to God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Our celebration of Mass here on earth is a reflection of the heavenly liturgy, where we are united with the angels and the saints. At Mass, we encounter Jesus, present in the Word of God, in the assembled community, and in a special way in the Eucharist. Here, we are encouraged, nourished, and sent forth to proclaim the Good News of salvation in our community. All are invited and encouraged to take an active role in this worship of God in our midst!
