"With what shall I come before the LORD, and bow before God most high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with myriad streams of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my crime, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? You have been told, O mortal, what is good, and what the LORD requires of you: Only to do justice and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:6-8).
OUTREACH
True Love always calls us out of ourselves. The Church directs Her Love toward those in need by sharing Christ's love with those who may feel the most forgotten. Jesus calls His followers to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, visit the sick, ransom the captive, and bury the dead. Through these works of mercy, we show Christ's presence, alive and active in our midst.
At Our Lady of Hope and St. Luke, we offer opportunities for parishioners and friends to respond to Jesus' call to serve through our Outreach programs and activities.
