Second grade is a big year for our students! Not only do they receive their first Reconciliation (Confession), but they also receive the Eucharist for the first time. That's right! For the first time in their lives, God places Himself into their hands.
This year, we will be using a brand new program called Blessed from Dynamic Catholic. This program was designed with the help of the Disney Animators, so you know it will be engaging!
As with First Reconciliation, we are asking families to go over session 1 together. To access the videos for session 1, please click the image below.

Parent Information Session
The parent information session will take place after each First Reconciliation service.
Preparation for this Sacrament will take place at St. Luke's on:
1st Session - Wednesday, January 9 from 6:30-8:00 pm.
2nd Session - Wednesday, February 6 from 6:30-8:00 pm.
3rd Session - Wednesday, March 13 from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Rehearsal will take place at St. Luke's on:
Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 pm. Please meet in the library.
Preparation for this Sacrament will take place at Our Lady of Hope on:
1st Session - Saturday, January 12 from 10:00-11:30 am.
2nd Session - Saturday, February 9 from 10:00-11:30 am.
3rd Session - Saturday, March 9 from 10:00-11:30 am.

Rehearsal will take place at Our Lady of Hope on:
Thursday, May 2 at 6:30 pm. Please meet in the chapel.
Those receiving the Sacrament may attend Session 1 and Session 2 at either parish, but they need to attend BOTH session 1 and 2 to be eligible for the Sacrament.
First Eucharist will be celebrated at both parishes:
Our Lady of Hope - Saturday, April 25 at 10:30 am
St. Luke - Saturday, May 2 at 10:30 am.
On Sunday, May 12 we will celebrate a May Procession. Please join us for this special Mass as we crown our Marian statue, and have a special procession with our First Communicants in their First Eucharist outfits.
