All the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They prostrated themselves before the throne, worshiped God, and exclaimed:

“Amen. Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving,

honor, power, and might be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

Then one of the elders spoke up and said to me, “Who are these wearing white robes, and where did they come from?”14I said to him, “My lord, you are the one who knows.” He said to me, “These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason they stand before God’s throne and worship him day and night in his temple.

This series is designed to help everyone - whether you are new to the Faith or a "cradle Catholic" - to understand the various elements of Mass so that we can enter into this prayer with a deeper sense of unity with Jesus and with one another.  All are welcome!

The Mass is the memorial of Jesus' sacrifice for us. We are called to unite our struggles and sacrifices with Him for the good of all. When we gather, we unite in prayer for others, and we offer ourselves for one another. How can this be meaningful?

"Go in Peace!"

After Communion, we are nourished an equipped to do what Jesus calls each one of us to do: "Go, make disciples!" The word "Mass" comes from the Latin word for "to send." What are we sent to? What are we supposed to do?
